Beautiful antique replica, antique gold, medal of Jesus giving First Holy Communion to a child. The medal says "Ecce Panis Angelorum" which is Latin for "Behold the Bread of Angels". This lovely medal dangles on a gold plated cable chain with a lobster clasp closure.
The medal is 3/4 inch diameter. Please message me if you would prefer a different length chain.
This fine replica piece is cast in solid gold bronze using the lost wax method and produced in the U.S.A. The oxidation finishing process prevents tarnishing from contact with air. Excessive skin oils may darken the backside of the medal. It is also best to not wear gold bronze in water. A polishing cloth is included so the medal can be polished to the original appearance. You would not damage the medal by contact with water since it is solid gold bronze (not a plating), but it may darken and need additional polishing.
