Gorgeous and unusual solid antique gold, antique replica, of a very rare St. Michael the Archangel medal that was made in France with the Latin St Michael phrase "Quis Ut Deus" around the border. I am blessed to have this original in my collection and be able to share this replica with you. Saint Michael the Archangel is a powerful spiritual warrior, intercessor, and protector against the forces of Satan.
The Latin phrase "Quis ut deus" means "Who is like God". This phrase is commonly associated with St Michael, particularly in artwork, since the Hebrew name of Michael means "Who is like God" or "Gift from God". The Prayer to St Michael card (shown in photos) is included in the gift box.
A gorgeous, unique piece with incredible depth. The medallion measures 1 inch diameter (the background circle portion is a bit under 1 inch).
For the chain option, this medal dangles on a 2x3mm cable chain with a lobster clasp closure. This fine replica piece is cast in solid gold bronze using the lost wax method and produced in the U.S.A. The oxidation finishing process prevents tarnishing from contact with air. Excessive skin oils may darken the backside of the medallion. It is also best to not wear gold bronze in water. A polishing cloth is included so the medal can be polished to the original appearance. You would not damage the medal by contact with water since it is solid gold bronze (not a plating), but it may darken thus need additional polishing.
