Gorgeous and unusual solid bronze antique replica of a rare St. Martin of Porres medal. The front side of the medallion has St Martin of Porres with Dutch text “Heilige Martinus de Porres Bid Voor Ons” meaning “St Martin of Porres Pray For Us”. The backside has Latin text “Regina Sacri Rosario Ora Pro Nobisi” meaning “Queen of the Holy Rosary, Pray for Us”. I am blessed to have this mint condition original in my collection and be able to share this replica with you.
The 5/8 inch wide x 7/8 inch high oval medallion (1 inch high including the loop) dangles on a 2x3mm cable chain with a lobster clasp closure.
This fine replica piece is cast in solid bronze using the lost wax method and then antiqued (oxidized). Produced in the U.S.A.
