An absolutely wonderful petite Sacred Heart of Jesus pendant that is an antique replica of a Paray-le-Monial souvenir. The Basilica of the Sacred Heart of Paray-le-Monial commemorates the apparitions of the Sacred Heart of Jesus to Saint Margaret Mary Alacoque. I am blessed to have this rare mint condition original in my collection and be able to share it with you at a reasonable price.
This piece dangles on a 1mm oxidized sterling silver spiga chain with a lobster clasp closure.
The pendant measures 5/8 inch wide by 3/4 inch high (excluding the loop), but is dainty on a chain.
This fine replica is cast in solid .925 sterling silver using the lost wax method and produced in the U.S.A. The oxidation finishing process makes this non-maintenance. This medal will test as .925 sterling silver. There is not a 925 or sterling stamp because this is an identical copy of the antique piece.
