This is an antiqued pewter, antique replica, of a rare medal that was minted in 1930 for the Centennial of the Miraculous Medal. Beautiful and unusual! The raised details are highlighted beautifully by the antiquing finish. I am blessed to have this original in my collection and be able to share the wonderful piece.
This Miraculous Medal can be purchased by itself on a jump ring or dangling on an antique silver plated cable chain necklace. The adjustable length chain option can be worn from 18 to 20 inches long. The 17" option is a fixed length chain.
The heart is almost 7/8 inch.
This fine replica piece is cast in solid (lead and cadmium free) pewter and antiqued. It is very similar in appearance to the antiqued sterling silver pieces in my shop, but is a bit lighter weight. ***The sterling stamp on the back of the heart is from the original antique. This is NOT sterling silver.***
