Absolutely gorgeous artistically hand-carved ByRon PalmCross, with a hand engraved Crucified Christ image.
These palm crosses have a small TOP HOLE to fit up to a 2mm leather cord. I was using them to make large gemstone rosaries, but the rosaries are very time consuming and end up being very expensive. The last photo in the listing is an example of a large rosary using this size palm cross.
These crucifix crosses are copyrighted ByRon PalmCross originals and resold with permission. They are hand-carved from American Black Walnut and each one is one-of-a-kind. Some are darker wood and some are lighter. The front and back surfaces are slightly curved to fit into the "palm" of the hand. No varnish or lacquer is applied, so the oils from the hands holding the PalmCross become the finish. Every cross is numbered on the back with the year it was carved, and the number carved of that style. The year is 2022 on all of the crucifixes since Holy Moments buys in large batches to make these crucifixes more affordable. These are amazing crosses and "the Cadillac of" palm or comfort crosses!
The image of Christ's dying body is hand-sketched and artistically hand-carved in relief on the front of the PalmCross™. The crucified image of our Lord is a symbol of the unique sacrifice of Christ as sole mediator between God and humanity. Jesus invites us as His disciples to take up our own cross daily and follow Him.
The palm cross is 5 inches high, 4 inches wide and 1/2 inch thick.
